All guests must have a ticket for admission, including children and infants carried in arms. Strollers are not allowed in the building. Note that most ticketed events at The Buddy Holly Hall are not appropriate for preschool-age children.
Events for children or families may have an exception to this policy. Please check individual show descriptions online or call the Box Office for more information.
The Buddy Holly Hall reserves the right to refuse entry or remove intoxicated guests.
For your convenience, an ATM is available in the basement, located next to the concession stands.
Baby changing stations can be found in the Family Restrooms on the Basement Level, First Floor, Second Floor, and Third Floor.
The Buddy Holly Hall encourages clear bags and/or small purses for all ticketed events. This policy enables security staff at The Buddy Holly Hall to move guests more quickly through security checkpoints and helps to promote guest safety. All bags are subject to search.
The following bags are not allowed in the building:
- Backpacks
- Briefcases
- Computer/tablet bags
- Camera bags
- Cinch bags
- Luggage
- Diaper bags
Exceptions for medically necessary items are allowed after proper inspection by security staff.
We have two ChargeFuze stations in the building, located on the first and second floors. To use a ChargeFuze station, simply scan the QR code at the station to download the app. The charger functions like a portable battery brick and can fully charge your phone in just 30 minutes. Each charger is equipped with multiple cables to accommodate different phone types.
The Buddy Holly Hall offers complimentary earplugs. These can be picked up at the Box Office.
Should you need medical attention, Buddy Holly Hall staff is trained and certified in first aid.
No outside food and beverage are allowed in the building. SAVOR, our exclusive in-house provider, offers a selection of cocktails, mocktails, fountain drinks, hot food, and snacks at ticketed events. Please note that alcohol cannot be taken outside of the building
The Buddy Holly Hall is not responsible for any items that may be lost during events. Lost items will be documented and held for 30 days. Please contact the Box Office at boxoffice@buddyhollyhall.com or call (806) 79-BUDDY (792-8339) to inquire about a lost item.
The Buddy Holly Hall utilizes metal detectors at all venue entrances. Upon entry, all guests will be required to have their bags checked and pass through a metal detector. To increase efficiency of these machines, guests are asked to keep the following guidelines in mind when attending an event:
- Arrive early in preparation for additional security measures
- Limit the number of personal items brought into the venue to expedite the screening process
Once in the screening area:
- Make sure you have your ticket in hand
- Prepare for a bag check by event security
- Place your cell phone, keys, wallet, and purse on the screening table and prepare to walk-through the metal detector
- Guests will be subject to a secondary screening process if the alarm sounds when passing through the walk-through metal detector.
An alternative security screening is available to guests who are: who are expectant mothers, wheelchair bound or have other health exceptions.

As a courtesy to our guests and performers, do not take cell phone photos or videos during performances. Professional photography is not allowed without prior consent from the venue (credentialed media only).
The following items are not allowed in the building.
- Point and shoot cameras
- Cameras with interchangeable/detachable lenses or external flash
- Tablets
- Audio/visual recording devices
- Selfie sticks
- Tripods and monopods
As a courtesy to our guests, the following items are prohibited at The Buddy Holly Hall (items are subject to change):
- Large bags or backpacks. See Bag Policy for more information
- Strollers
- Photo and video equipment. See Photo and Video Policy for more information
- Outside food and beverages
- Laptops
- Handheld gaming
- Two-way radios
- Weapons – Including firearms, pepper spray, and pocketknives
- Illegal drugs
- Smoking or vaping products
- Flashlights, laser pointers, flares, or fireworks
- Airhorns, bells, or whistles
- Balls, balloons, or projectiles
- Unapproved pamphlets, handouts, ads, flyers inside the venue or in parking areas without prior consent from The Buddy Holly Hall management
- Clothing, garments, and/or signs displaying explicit language, profanity, or derogatory characterization toward any person(s)
- Sharp studded belts/bracelets, character masks, and/or chains
- Flags, signs, or banners

For the security and safety of our guests, there is no re-entry once the guest’s ticket has been scanned.
The Buddy Holly Hall is a smoke-free facility. Tobacco products, electronic cigarettes, vape pens, and similar smokeless products are not permitted in the building. Guests may smoke outside, 20 feet or more from the building. There is no re-entry for performances at the Hall.
